Tick Tick's inception in May 2006 grew out of a desire to create a self-sustaining community of artists and musicians and provide them with an outlet for expression. We want nothing more than to expand Burlington's thriving arts scene through community collaboration...in other words, we want everyone to be involved in the creation of a dynamo - energy and creativity go into the dynamo, and even more pours out til it overflows. And as it turns out, Burlington's geographic positioning makes it perfect for the spillage. Centralized between Montreal, New York City, and Boston, outside artists can join the Tick Tick community and share their creativity while en-route to one of the surrounding greater cities. More energy. More Art. More Fun.
We are all artists and we have different visions of what we want for Tick Tick. And since we're young and full of infinite, boundless energy, we are going to try to do all of them. Tick Tick currently provides design, screen printing, and promotion services. In the future, expect to see glimmers of a Tick Tick venue [Fort Nest], recording studio, record label, and clothing line. We can't do any of it though without the help of local and outside artists driving the dynamo to grow and output more energy.
